This week the 9's return to the Philly area... but for those of you from elsewhere, we've got some new pictures!

Berwyn Tavern - April 8
If you haven't seen a 9's show in a good, old- fashioned bar... then you haven't seen the 9's! This Saturday is your best chance when the 9's take on the Berwyn Tavern in Berwyn PA. With plenty of room for sitting... plenty of room for dancing... and most certainly plenty of room for drinking.... the 9's will be in their rarest of forms - playing intense tunes until all hours of the night...

Berwyn is outside of Philadelphia along the Main Line - easily accessible from the Philly region as well as the Lehigh Valley and elsewhere.

    The Uptown Swing organization at the University of Pennsylvania is one of the most thriving swing dance organizations in this part of the country. Their legendary bi-monthly dance dubbed 'The Saturday Night Fishfry' draws everyone that swings or digs the swing.. not to mention top notch bands.     9's News October 2005

    Unfortunately, not all 9's news is always good news. In the last month, a couple of 9's have decided to step aside from the 9's experience to pursue other endeavours in life.

    Scott Shirey and Dave Gerard will be greatly missed by the band. Their incredible musicianship helped shape the latest and greatest 9's sound... and they just so happen to be incredible fella's to know all around.

    Luckily for us all, we're sure you can look forward to them sitting in with the 9's... We wish them both the best of luck!

    LoFi Lee always hosts the most happenin' swing dance events in New York City. In year's past, the 9's have had the distinction of performing for him at the Supper Club and Jack's Joint. His latest venue is Connolly's and it continues to pack in anyone in the city with an itch to dance.

    This Friday, the 9's are gonna scratch that itch like it's never been scratched as they venture to Manhattan to unleash their latest. If you've been waiting for a chance to head out to New York to experience the scene, now's the time!
